(ORiginally written on July 7, 2005)
NEws: In this section, I will either write about what happens in my life or I will give an essay, possibly political posibly not. I will do the latter.
SO I STILL COLLECT VHS TAPES:
WIth over 200 videotapes on my list of films to rent from the library, and 10 DVDs on the same list, I have to say that I still collect VHS tapes. Sure, I may not do it as often as I buy DVDs, but I still occasionally buy them (The most recent being Matchstick men) and rent them. Come to think about it, there are several films available on VHS that I like. Among them Include:

* David Holzman's Diary
* Most of the Laurel and Hardy Catalog
* The Entire Colorized Laurel and Hardy Catalog.
* Last Movie
* Greed
* The Fountainhead
* Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
* Reckless Kelly

This is not a call to release said films on DVD, but a call for people to still own VHSs. Besides, it has a retro air to it, now that few people (like me) are using them.

BAND NAME: In this section, I will write about a band name that came out of my head, and I explain it. *!&%$. This comes from a panel in a MAD magazine parody of The Bad NEws Bears that goes like this:

Tatum O'Neal Equivalent: Buttermilker, I don't Want any of your &*@%bull#%! You can take your baseball team and shove it.
Walter Matthau equivalent: So you don't want to be a ball player anymore? What DO you want to be??
O'Neal: A LADY!!
Matthau: I guess you don't have it anymore! You're probably over the hill!
O'Neal: You Can't Trick me into playing! I'm wise to your %*$!!
Matthau: Oh, go asterisk, exclamation point, ampersand. percent symbol, and dollar sign yourself!
O'Neal: Huh? What in heck does that mean?
Matthau: I'm Cursing like a Gentleman!
O'Neal: In That case, I'll play!

Film Idea: In this section, I plan on talking about film Ideas I have. Today, I will be talking about Gieef Lives. When I film it, I plan on changing several details:
* The stories alternate back and forth, with these 2 film noir rejects watching the proceedings on TV acting like a greek chorus.
* Julius Yoda will have a second theory: every film Debbie Reynolds made after Singin' In the Rain had her replaced with her evil twin.

REVIEW: In this section, I give my remarks on a book or movie that I didn't talk about on the Main HBSYW page. Today, I will talk about Jean Paul Sarte's La Nausee. This is the Story of a man named Antoine Roquentin, and how he settled in his hometown of Boueville. This is written in the form of a diary, and this blog's title is a passage from the book. In it, while researching a french aristocrat's life, he is frequently feeling the urge to vomit just by looking at things. In between his research, encounters with an autodidact, and his rekindling romance with an old flame, tries to pinpoint the source of this Nausea. While staring at the roots of a tree, he discovers the answer.

QUOTE OF THE DAY: In this section of the blog, I will put up a quote I like.
The Quote:
"I'd Rather have a bottle in front of me
than a frontal lobotomy."
___________Tom Waits [Note: Note how he rearranges the sounds. I have put it in 2 lines for you to further see.]

Link: In this section, I will give a link that I like to go to. Today, I will start with WIKIPEDIA. If you have as many interests in as I do, This is essentially a Gold mine. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

NOTE: The Hyperlinks do not work.

Thanks. There's 15 more issues pre-written to come daily , and the blog will get more political, left-wing. Just so you know.
